A&E Tevelvision's "Intervention"

One of Astoria Pointe's clients, professional musician, Philip Guzman, Jr. was the subject of an episode of a documentary series from A&E Television called Intervention. The show tracked Philip from heavy drinking, through an intervention from his family and a professional interventionist, up to Astoria Pointe, where he gained his sobriety.
Astoria Pointe teamed up with a local, sober music venue Redhare to host a special performance by Philip and Michael Dickes. It was a fun night for the other clients who got to witness the hope of what's possible sober.
After a significant amout of time in treatment, Philip was reunited with his daughter who had never known him sober. Once again, Philip and Michael put on another show at the Redhare which was, this time, filmed for the Intervention episode. The program has aired several times on national television since its filming in July 2008.
